May this be a weekend full of Feasting on Jesus

Dear Family,

As we partake in Holy Week, may we feast on Jesus.

May we more fully realize we can trust Him with our lives, and give Him what He deserves and desires - our everything.

Sending much Love, Joy, and Hope in Jesus,

Denae

Feasting on Jesus

May we remember Jesus is the Bread of Life. No person and no thing satisfies our deep hunger like Him.

In John 6:35 Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." (NIV)

May we be mindful of Jesus as the Living Water. He refreshes us in ways that no other person or pleasure on the earth ever can.

Only Jesus.

Only Jesus meets us in our deepest need, sees us and understands, for He created us to hunger for Him, to be with Him, to know Him and be known by Him, and to be satisfied in Him alone.

Only Jesus is Life.

He is saying, “Come to Me, all who hunger and thirst. Come to Me, all who are weary and laden with heavy burdens I didn’t ask you to carry, and I’m asking you to lay down.

I laid down My life for you. I have given everything so you can be with Me and My Father.

Come to Me, to be with Me. Include me throughout your day. Stay in today; don’t let your thoughts go into tomorrow. Trust Me for what you need for today, knowing I will provide your daily bread.

Rely on Me. Ask Me. Seek Me. For you will find Me.

I am with you and I am for you! I AM and will supply all that you need.”

Let's allow these words of God to sink in deep:

"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all these things will be given to you too. So do not worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Living faithfully is a large enough task for today"

Matt. 6:33-34, (The Voice).

“I will show my love to those who passionately love me. For they will search and search continually until they find me"

Proverbs 8:17, (TPT).

“So listen, my sons and daughters, to everything I tell you, for nothing will bring you more joy than following my ways”

Proverbs 8:32, (TPT).

“If you wait at wisdom’s doorway, longing to hear a word for every day, joy will break forth within you as you listen for what I’ll say. For the fountain of life pours into you every time that you find me, and this is the secret of growing in the delight and the favor of the Lord"

Proverbs 8:34-35, (TPT).

Let’s Pray

Abba, Father,

Thank You for Jesus.

Thank You, Jesus, for being what I need.

Thank You for loving me so generously.

Thank You for giving all so I can feast on Life, found only in You!

Help me come to You, moment by moment and day by day, trusting totally in You.

I will ask You, seek You, and listen for Your voice that leads to Life.

Thank You God, for Your Word that directs me in the way I should go.

I will follow You, totally trusting You are my source of wisdom and joy, and are with me everywhere and always.

I will drink of You and eat of You.

I will keep learning to love You better and better and with all that I am.

Lord, have Your way in me.

I love You.

And I thank You.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
